Grandma and Grandpa Knight

I can remember visiting Grandma and Grandpa Knight as a little girl for 2 very distinct reasons.  First, they were absolutely the old people I ever knew. Grandma Knight was my great grandmother.  Second, because they lived in a high rise apartment.  Like really high for 1962 or so.  It was pretty thrilling in those days to ride an elevator and go up so high.

    Boy, that really brings back memories! Richard must have been taking the picture. Maybe we didn't have time exposure. The Knights were the first residents in the Sr. apts. It was built by their church,The Jackson Ave. Christian Church. There is a placque in the foyer commorating their dedication. Gran Pa Knight was Granmas fourth husband. Pauline Wilahmine
